Entering & Submitting Criteria

The Mapping Search Form is a soft search application, which means you can have very limited criteria for your search; or you can make the search very refined.  Simply key-in and/or select the criteria in the appropriate fields and click ‘Submit’ to execute the search.  Clicking ‘Reset’ will clear all of the fields in the form. Be sure to click 'Reset' or 'New Search' before starting a new search so the previously selected criteria are cleared.

Available Search Fields
The following are the criteria fields you can use to narrow your search:

ID Numbers
Street Address
Total Value Range
Sale Price Range
Sale Date Range
Year Built Range
Living/Building Area
Occupancy
Neighborhood

Wildcard values can be used by placing an asterisk (*) where necessary.  For example, if you were to type '894728*' in the PIN field, the search will look for all PINs beginning with 894728.

A typical PIN number will read like this: 8947-28-304-001 or 01-28-304-001

8947 is the Township(89) and Range(47) number or 01 for the "area" number
28 is the section number
304 is the block number
001 is the parcel number

Blocks are grouped by quarter-section.
101-199 (NW 1/4) / 201-299 (NE 1/4) / 301-399 (SW 1/4) / 401-499 (SE 1/4)

And further divided by quarter-quarter section (NW 1/4 example).
101-125 (NW 1/4 of NW 1/4) / 126-150 (NE 1/4 of NW 1/4) / 151-175 (SW 1/4 of NW 1/4) / 176-199 (SE 1/4 of NW 1/4)
