Step 1 – Access the website. Currently there are few pictures (or a
list of the same items on the far left of the website) that can be clicked on
to access that particular field of interest.

Step 2 – Click on the area
of interest desired. For these notes we will go through the entire feature
Classes.
Land Corners – This initial
screen is populated with seven major fields. All the seven fields can be sorted
in ascending or descending order, just by clicking on the header of the fields.
The “Section Corner ID” field is the only clickable field. Section
Corner ID is a combination of Corner Number, Township, Range
& Section. E.g.: 10_74_6_01.
Select a Section Corner ID and the website is
directed to the information for that Section Corner. At the bottom of the
screen the recent scan document along with the Archive files is displayed.
Click on each to view the Image.
Bridges – This initial screen is populated with 9 major fields. The
“FHWA #” field is currently the clickable field. Select a bridge and the website is directed
to the information for that bridge. At
the left of “Bridge Details” information is a field named
“Inspection Dates”. This
field has a drop down list next to it that has respective dates for inspections
on that particular bridge. Select a date
and hit the “Go” button next to the date list. This date search
will get the respective SIA Form, SIA Supplemental and Photos. Click on each to
view.
Culverts – This database contains 9 data fields. The “Culvert
#” field is currently the clickable field. Select a Culvert and the
website is directed to the information for that Culvert. At the bottom of
“Culvert Details” the respective Culvert Designs information is
displayed. Page number along with the File Name. Click
on each to view.
Road Signs – This database contains 8 data fields. The
“
Road Grading – This database contains 7 data fields. The
“Project #” field is the clickable field. Select a
Project # and the website is directed to the information for that Road
Grading. At the bottom of “Road Grading Details” the respective
Image Files are displayed. Click on each to view.
Pavement Inventory – This database
contains 10 data fields. The “Project #” field is the clickable
field. Select a Project # and the website is directed
to the information for that Pavement Inventory. At the bottom of
“Pavement Inventory Details” the respective Image Files are
displayed. Click on each to view.
Pavement Designs – This database
contains 7 data fields. The “Pavement ID” field is the clickable
field. Select a Pavement ID and the website is directed to the information for
that Pavement Designs. At the bottom of “Pavement Design Details”
the respective Image Files are displayed. Click on each to view.
Driveways – This database contains 8 data fields. The
“Driveway #” field is currently the clickable field. Select a Driveway # and the website is directed to the information
for that Driveways. At the bottom of “Driveway Details” the
respective Image Files are displayed. Click on each to view.
GPS Monuments – This database contains 7 data fields. The
“GPS Name” field is currently the clickable field. Select a GPS
Name and the website is directed to the information for that
USGS Monuments – This database
contains 7 data fields. The “USGS Name” field is currently the
clickable field. Select a USGS Name and the website is directed to the
information for that
ROW Plats – This database contains 7 data fields. The
“ROW Plat ID” field is currently the clickable field. Select a ROW
Plat ID and the website is directed to the information for that ROW Plat. At
the bottom of “ROW Plat Details” the respective Image File are
displayed. Click on each to view.
Street Strip Maps – This database
contains 7 data fields. The “Street Map ID” field is currently the
clickable field. Select a Street Map ID and the website is directed to the
information for that Street Strip Map. At the bottom of “Street Strip
Map” the respective Image Files are displayed. Click on each to view.
Rail Road Strip Maps – This database
contains 6 data fields. The “
Fixed Assets – This database contains 7 data fields. The
“Fixed Assets” field is currently the clickable field. Select a Asset Name and the website is directed to the information
for that Fixed Asset. At the bottom of “Fixed Asset” information
the respective Image Files are displayed. Click on each to view.
SEARCH SCREEN
– There are two
types of searches. Simple search and advanced search
Simple Search: Simple
search is on Township, Range, Section, FHWA and Street Name. Check the boxes of
the fields that you want to have the search result and select the search
criteria. Click the search button and the output will be on next screen with
the respective links to view. Click on each to view the detailed information
and the Images.
Advanced Search: Select
from the dropdown the respective feature Bridges, culverts, Row Plats and
Section Corners. Click on the go button. Here you can select the fields and
define multiple search criteria to minimize the serach
result. Click the search button and the output will be on next screen with the
respective links to view. Click on each to view the detailed information and
the Images
ARCIMS
ARCIMS Link: Click
on the ARCIMS link on the left side of the screen. Please wait until the Map is
fully retrieved from the database.

Help on the Toolbar:
Legend: Displays
the various legends for the active layers on the left side of the map.
Overview Map:
Displays the overview map of the existing Map.
Zoom In:
Zooms into the selected area on the map
Zoom Out:
Zooms out to the selected area on the map
Full Extent:
Gets the Full extent of the map on the screen.
Last Extent:
Gets the previous extent of the map.
Pan:
Pans in all the directions of the map.
Hot Link:
Click on the bridge for example to get the detailed information about the
Bridge along with the Image files to view
Feature Info: Gets
the information about the selected feature.
Query:
Select the Field, Operator and the value. Click on samples to get the sample
values. To do a
advanced Search click on the AND or not buttons and continue till you build the
query and finally hit the search button to get the output. At the bottom of the
screen you will find a zoom to selected records link. Click on the link to Zoom to the selected features.
Find:
It’s like a query but you can query on any field. It searches the entire
feature class in the database for the input search criteria and gets the output
where ever it matches.
Distance:
Click on the Map and draw a area or line where you
want to find the distance and it displays the Units in FEET.
Set Scale: Default
is FEET but can be changed to Miles, Meters, Kilometers
Select By rectangle: Draw a rectangle and the output will be all the
active features from the selected area.
Clear Selection:
Clears All the selected features.
Print:
Prints the map. Can specify the Title to display on the Map.
Search TRS:
Enter the Township, Range and Section and click on search. Output will result
in data from sections feature and click on the link to Zoom
to the map for the selected Township, Range & Section.
